Cannon's Sweethots: Green Chile Salsa & Hot Sauces

Sweet Hots, made of only the best New Mexico flame-roasted chile, began in a one-quart saucepan on our kitchen stove way back in 1977. After years of tinkering and recipe creation, to rave reviews, we decided to offer our delicious concoction to the public, launching it at the New Mexico State Fair in 1993, where we were mobbed with tasters (and buyers) of all ages.

Over the past thirteen years, our product line has grown to include Sweet Hots Mild & Hot, Jalapeno Red Hots, Just Plain Green Chile, Green Chile Piccalilli, Cannon Fire Green Chile Salsa, and Sugar-free Sweet Hots. We're based in Albuquerque, New Mexico and ship chile - and our gift baskets - all over the world.

Our chile is so versatile, it can be used in appetizers, entrees and even dessert! Or, you can simply open a jar and pour over cream cheese. Here are just a few (more available on the recipes page and in our monthly free e-letter):

Our loyal customers are always sending us new ideas; one woman even put Sweet Hots on her morning oatmeal! Another stirs Red Hots into everything from tuna salad to pasta sauce. And, we think everything goes better with green chile, from scrambled eggs to baked potatoes. We're sure you can come up with your delicious variations, but we warn you, the chile is addictive!
